    Culpepper Done

Dante Culpepper has retired! Couldn't land a starting job anywhere, so he is calling it quits.

    Re: Culpepper Done

Everybody seems to forget that Culpepper had some really nice years in Minnesota before the knee injury messed him up ...Im not saying hes the greatest QB of all time but he damn sure aint the worst, he had a few good seasons. I just wish Miami could have gotten a healthy Culpepper when they did instead of a gimpy one, actually better yet I just wish we had signed Brees to the big contract instead of choosing to go with Daunte.

    Re: Culpepper Done

Culpepper's thing was he could always move around, make things happen in the pocket and give him receivers time to get open. He never was a pocket passer, he was mediocre at best. He did throw a good long ball, but so can a lot of other guys. After injuries have broken him down, he really has lost his effectiveness at doing the things he's good at. He really should have tried to develop his game more when he had the chance.

Hasn't he fumbled more times that any other QB in history though, it maybe it was just for one season? Small hands! haha

You gotta consider though, he has Moss and Chris Carter, that helps alot. They had a good RB at the time too, Robert Smith I think??

    Re: Culpepper Done

Only Kurt Warner may fumble more as a QB. Thats why he wears gloves all the time now.
